The National Polytechnic University of Armenia and EngineerX Sign Partnership

The National Polytechnic University of Armenia (NPUA) and EngineerX have signed a memorandum of cooperation, with additional support from the Armenian Engineers and Scientists of America (AESA). EngineerX will provide the university with a package of 30 licenses that include training and certifications vital to expanding the educational footprint within Armenia.

Vahe Nigoghosian, the founder of EngineerX, states, “This collaboration is the foundation of what we’re trying to build in Armenia; a world-class engineering hub of education and talent that can bring Armenia to the forefront of the engineering world. It starts with education, and so we put our focus on making sure the educational institutions within Armenia are using the latest software, by SolidWorks.”

NPUA has always emphasized creating new partnerships and deepening existing cooperation to train high-quality specialists. The university informs, “The cooperation of NPUA with EngineerX is important for us due to the fact that its implementation enables numerous students studying in various professions to deepen their knowledge of computer design tools using the licensed SolidWorks software package. In the framework of this cooperation, 4 professors at the university are currently being trained with the packages provided by EngineerX.”

This collaboration will create a new platform and design environment for students to apply their engineering knowledge. Students will have the opportunity to conduct research and graduation work with innovative approaches, thanks to their knowledge of the licensed SolidWorks software package, ultimately entering the labor market with modern design tool capabilities. NPUA also expects to implement new educational and research programs jointly with EngineerX in the future.

AESA has played a significant role in supporting the students and the work done at NPUA. Their partnership with EngineerX further strengthens the initiative to enhance engineering education and opportunities in Armenia.
