Celebrating Scientific Innovation: The Science Olympiad Award Ceremony in Armenia

The Science Olympiad Award Ceremony, meticulously organized by AESA members Areg Gharabegian and Dr. Vardan Gevorgyan, stands as a testament to the AESA’s commitment to fostering scientific curiosity and innovation. Dr. Gevorgyan meticulously organized all the logistics for the event, ensuring every detail was flawlessly arranged. He has been the force behind planning the award ceremony in Yerevan since 2016.

With over 250 attendees, including students, educators, and parents, the event promises to be an unforgettable affair. The event was held on April 3, 2024, at the National Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

As the ceremony commences, Areg Gharabegian takes to the stage, welcoming guests and participants with warmth and enthusiasm. He highlights the significance of the Olympiad in nurturing the next generation of scientific leaders.


The highlight of the evening is undoubtedly the presentation of awards. With categories ranging from biology to robotics, each recipient is celebrated for their dedication, creativity, and problem-solving skills. The room erupts in applause as students proudly accept their medals and certificates, their hard work recognized on a national stage.
