Dr. Etezadi is a Technical Lead and Lead Designer at the University of Southern California (USC), where she contributes to two California Energy Commission–funded research projects. With expertise in chemical engineering and process design, she leads efforts in green hydrogen production and biogas upgrading. She oversaw the design, construction, and operation of a high-purity hydrogen facility producing over 25 kg per day and a biogas plant that increased methane purity by more than 90%.
Razieh earned her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from USC, where she was awarded a five-year scholarship and received the Merit Award for her research. She has extensive experience in project management, process optimization, and system automation. Using tools such as MATLAB, Aspen, and COMSOL, she develops dynamic models to optimize energy use and improve safety, advancing sustainable energy systems.
