
Leo Natanian is a seasoned engineering leader with nearly two decades of experience driving software innovation, organizational growth, and cross-functional collaboration in the technology and gaming industries. He currently serves as Vice President of the Armenian Engineers and Scientists Association (AESA), where he helps advance AESA’s mission of fostering collaboration, mentorship, and technical excellence within the global Armenian scientific and engineering community.
Professionally, Leo has held senior leadership roles at several high-impact technology organizations, including Riot Games, Skillz, Aparavi, and Singularity 6, where he led teams responsible for large-scale, globally deployed software and gaming platforms. At Riot Games, he played a key role in launching major titles such as Teamfight Tactics, Valorant, Legends of Runeterra, and Wild Rift, while also architecting RiotPay, the company’s internal commerce platform spanning multiple geographies and currencies.
Leo’s leadership philosophy centers on enabling others to excel. As both a people manager and technical strategist, he has built, mentored, and scaled engineering teams that prioritize sustainable practices, innovation, and inclusive culture. His technical focus areas include software architecture, compliance, secure development, and large-scale data and cloud solutions.
Currently, Leo serves as Director of Engineering at Sytepoint, Inc., where he leads engineering strategy and delivery for diverse software development initiatives. Previously, he contributed to the successful launch of Palia, a cross-platform massively multiplayer online (MMO) game, at Singularity 6.
Leo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a Master of Business Administration from California State University, Northridge. He is fluent in English and Armenian and remains deeply committed to empowering the next generation of Armenian technologists through mentorship, community engagement, and education.
