John-Emmanuel Shirajian is the past president of AESA (2019), co-founder of the Science Olympiad with Mr. Levon Toros, and co-founder of the Robotics Program with Mr. Arin Abed. Currently, he is the Science and Math Department Chair at Ribet Academy. He introduced the science fair to multiple Armenian schools. He is the author of four books and published over 40 encyclopedia articles. His students have won more than 240 corporate, state, county, and Science Olympiad awards. He was the California Teacher of the Year in 2010, presented to him by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
