Dan Kolhoff is the Vice-President of Regulatory & Legal Affairs at John Paul Mitchell Systems and the President of the Board of Directors for the Independent Beauty Association. Dan is a Southern California native who attended UC Santa Barbara where he obtained a BA in International Relations. He also attended The John Marshall Law School (now the University of Illinois Chicago) where he received his Juris Doctorate in Law. He has been a licensed attorney in California since 1996.
Dan started his career at Herbalife International working on dietary supplement registrations for Europe and Asia. He then oversaw EU regulatory compliance for Herbalife’s personal care products and eventually moved into its international development team, working on the opening of new markets such as Croatia, Morocco, and Latvia. Dan then moved to Murad where he was a Manager in the International Group. After that he worked at Nestle USA in its Emerging Markets Division then moving to Guthy-Renker as the Director of Regulatory Affairs where he worked on cosmetic, drug, medical device, and consumer product compliance. He is now at John Paul Mitchell Systems.
