Arin Abed is a Senior Photonics Manufacturing Engineer at SiLC Technologies working on LiDAR

products responsible for product development and transfer qualified processes to volume

manufacturing phase. He holds MSEE in Control Systems from Cal State University.

Former Robotics committee chair, Science Olympiad committee member, council member for 5

years and AESA lifetime member.

Wants to contribute to AESA’s mission and its established goals and facilitate their realization.

He believes the solution to our nation’s and community’s challenges is in the Youth and the

next generation. He will dedicate his personal and organizational resources to educating them

and creating a wiser generation not to repeat the same mistakes.
